Rotaract is a club for adult ages 18-30 that meets to exchange ideas, plan activities and projects and socialize. While Rotary Clubs serve as sponsors, Rotaract clubs decide how to organize and run thier club and what projects and activities to carry out.

Rotaract Club of St. Xavier’s College
A club formed and functioned by Constitution and Standard By- Laws for Rotaract by Rotary International.
The Club orientation took place on 1st April 2014 with 30 Charter members at Fr. Proost Hall of St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi. It was in the presence of Head of Department of Computer Science Dr. Swarat Chaudhuri (Club Mentor), CMA Ajaydeep Wadhwa, then President, Rotary Club of Ranchi, Mr. Mukesh Taneja, then President Elect, Rotary Club Ranchi.
Since then Club has been working towards the welfare of the society by initiating and organizing various social awareness campaigns and events. The club has been focused mainly towards the education of poor children and women, as well as medicine collection and distribution.
The club has also created buzz in the town with numerous mega events like ‘Sportaract’, ‘3hr 2 min 50 projects’, Women’s Day- Udaan’, ‘Blood Donation Camps’ etc.
